Mr. N.K. Gupta is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is the founder of the group including SSPBML, the flagship company of the group. Aged around 60 years Mr. Gupta has experience of more than 40 years. A diploma holder from Pusa Institute of Delhi, Mr. Gupta started his career as a professional but soon he switched over to business, first by entering in trading and thereafter setting up various industrial units. A first generation entrepreneur, Mr. Gupta has built a sizable and respected organization without any inherited financial resources. Presently, being the Chairman of the Company, he is responsible for strategic direction and judicious deployment of resources of the company.
He was one of the awardees of Udyog Patra Award in 2001-02 presented by Institute of Trade & Industrial Development to self made Industrialist. He has also been awarded Bhartiya Udyog Ratan Award by Industrial Economic Development & Research Association.
